Clearwater not getting ahead of themselves in Shanghai
During the Friday of the FIA WEC 6 hours of Shanghai, Clearwater driver Weng Sun Mok told reporters about his thoughts coming into the round as class leaders.
“It has been a really unbelievable season so far. In our debut year and we really had no expectations but we started out with the win at Silverstone" Weng told reporters. "We said ‘let’s not get ahead of ourselves' but there is the challenge now. All of a sudden, expectations have risen as we are in the running for the championship" he continued.
Clearwater racing hold a slight lead over the Dempsey Proton Porsche team of just 2 points coming into the penultimate round.
In closing Weng said "We will be pushing this weekend and the team has been gelling really well. It's nice to come back here to Shanghai where I did my first race in 2007."
