Isotta Fraschini ends its WEC campaign

After five races in the World Endurance Championship, Isotta Fraschini decided to end its WEC campaign with immediate effect. Despite the car being on its way to Austin for the upcoming Lone Star Le Mans at the Circuit of the Americas.

Apparently, a break up with the team that runs the car, Duquiene Engineering, is the cause for the sudden termination. The team itself on their website describe it as: "there are no longer any conditions to continue the partnership with the French team Duqueine."

This already means the second break with a partner in the short existence of Isotta, as in the early stages of development the partnership with Vector Motorsport, which drove last season with an Isotta-livery in LMP2, ended prematurely.

No statement whatsoever from Duquiene is anywhere to be found.
