As rumored over the past couple of weeks, Lamborghini is officially absent from the 2025 WEC entry list. Although not officially confirmed, the new for 2025 obligation to field 2 cars per team is what made the Italian brand decide to end its WEC campaign. The full list contains a total of 36 cars, split evenly between Hypercars and LMGT3.
Aston Martin fills the gap left by Lamborghini with two brand new Valkyrie hypercars. Iron Lynx, the team that run both the Lamborghini SC63 hypercar and the Huracan LMGT3s, partners with Mercedes to run two AMG GT3s in 2025.
Other changes to the 2024 grid are JOTA switching to Cadillac, one of the Aston Martins will be branded by the Spirit of Le Mans team instead of D'Station, and the Iron Dames switch from Iron Lynx to Manthey Porsche.
