Prescott Motorsport joins forces with Barneshaw Images in 2017

Now we are racing into 2017 we have another announcement to make.....

Prescott Motorsport has joined forces with Barneshaw Images allowing us to bring you even more up to date and relevant news and photos from the 2017 motor racing season.

Barneshaw Images, owned by Eric Barnes, is based in Bournemouth where he lives with Brian the Dog, Bugsy the Rabbit, oh and his wife and step daughter!

"For my whole life I’ve been car and motorsport crazy, so much so that when I was three years old my parents tried to get me on a TV show called “You Bet” where I was to guess the cars just by feeling the badge whilst blindfolded" comments Eric. His main love is BTCC, which all began back in 1999 when he visited his local circuit Thruxton. Blown away by the cars on show, the speed, the noise, the spectacle, it captivated the 12 year old in him, and that love has stayed with him all his life.

In 2014, Eric began Barneshaw Images with a friend (Barneshaw being a combination of their surnames) just as an outlet to showcase his other passion of photography, which he combined with his first love of motorsport. At first Eric was just shooting in spectator areas, trying to gain different angles from the rest, and really just working with what he could. But that all changed in 2015 when Eric was awarded a Britcar season pass gaining him access to the 'other side of the fence' and letting him explore his creative side with a camera. "Since then, its gone from strength to strength, and as I’m on the eve of the 2017 season, I can now say I’ve covered Britcar, BTCC, and other events as accredited media. My aim is to one day get to Formula One and cover a whole season photographing that…..I can but dream at the moment".
