Robin Frijns to return for ABT CUPRA in the Sao Paulo ePrix this weekend

After four races out, Robin Frijns will return to Formula E in Sao Paulo for ABT CUPRA.

Robin fractured his wrist in the opening lap of the season in Mexico City and he has since had surgery on his wrist and has missed 4 rounds. In a statement released by ABT Cupra, Robin said “It feels insanely good to be preparing for a race again with Nico and the whole team”. “It’s so good to be back”. Robin is a former 2-time ePrix winner and his task right now is to try and get ABT’s first points of the season. CUPRA are currently bottom of the teams’ championship and they are the only team who hasn’t scored a point so far this season. ABT CUPRA also thanked Kelvin van der Linde for jumping in the car and in my opinion, he drove better than Nico Mueller in the time that Frijns was away.

I certainly think it’s great to see Robin back on track and let’s hope ABT CUPRA can have a strong weekend in Brazil.
